The Dept. of Gastroenterology has many services and complicated and complex procedures are performed.

The Department has Olympus state-of-the-art system 190 series HD. We are proud to say that we follow strict guidelines of single use accessories for our patients.

Procedures performed are both diagnostic and therapeutic.

Endoscopy Day Care performs examinations of the digestive tract for outpatients. There is a dedicated team of technicians and nurses to assist the doctor’s in all the procedures.

  1. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy EGD/OGD scopy.

  8. Glue injection therapy for fundal varices.

  11. Zenkers diverticulum repair.

  13. Argon plasma coagulation.

  14. Endoscopic mucosal resection EMR.

  15. Endoscopic surgical dissection ESD.

  16. Endoscopic Suture Gastroplasty(for obesity non surgical technique).

  17. Bioenteric intragastric balloon (BIB).

  18. Antireflux mucosal ablation (ARMA).

  19. Antireflux mucosectomy(ARMS).

  20. GERDX procedure for Antireflux.

  21. Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG).

  22. Psuedocyst drainage.

  23. Fistula closure.

Most of these procedures are done by EGD scopy Colonoscopy Biliary obstruction due to stones and malignancy are treated Endoscopic retrograde Pancreatography stenting EUS guided biopsies and blocks are performed. We have a 24 hr Bleed team for Emergencies Various OPDs for IBD Liver and pancreas related diseases are there Obesity clinic to be started soon.
